Kickin' It Old School

 In
a world that is always searching for the “next big thing”,
some things will never change and can never be improved upon. God, His
Promises, His Word, and the Gospel are unchangeable which is why the
Go Fish Guys invite you to KICK IT OLD SCHOOL!
Using classic hymns from their new CD, our kids will love
the new songs, videos, skits, crafts, snacks, and karaoke times! Also
new this year, the Go Fish Guys will be a part of each day’s Bible
lesson to help teach using animation and video.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
It’s time to kick it old school!
VBS ACTIVITIES

Accordion mini-scrapbook: Students
will need to being 6-10 pictures that they would like to use. The
leader will supply the rest of the materials. (This activity is for
4th-6th graders only). Instructor is Cathy Bowman.

Old School crafts: We’ll be
stretching our budgets by doing recycled craft ideas. In the old days
people used what they had to make toys and games. We will use plastic
lids, sticks, paper and egg cartons to create fun useful projects.
April Geist & Sharon Ligtenberg will lead this group.

Science Experiments with Donna Appletoft
Join this group and see what you can do with simple household items
like: cornstarch/water walk, Invisible writing, slime, Sharpie pen
experiment and bubble experiment

Fitness Boot Camp/Interval Relays:
Anyone can do jumping jacks but we’ll take them to the max.
Starburst, pushup jacks, burpees; bring your athletic shoes this is
too serious for sandals. Run a little, take on a challenge, tag a
teammate and do it again. Athletic shoes and a good sense of humor
are highly recommended. This activity will be led by Sharon McDaniel.
