Ministries
Children & Worship
Children & Worship is offered for ALL children 3 yrs old through 3rd
grade during BOTH worship services. This is the time when children enter
a very special place to be with God, to talk with God, to listen to God
and to hear the stories of God. We walk more slowly and talk more softly
because someone might be talking with God, and we do not want to disturb
them.
Kids of the Kingdom
Kids of the Kingdom is a children's choir that is open to all children
from Kindergarten through 6th grade. They practice in the sanctuary right
after 1st service (9:45-10:00 a.m.) and from 6:30 - 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday
evenings September - May. They usually sing during both Worship services
on the first Sunday of each month during the school year. Kids of the
Kingdom is led by Laura Docken and Laurie Kent.
Sunday School
Following the Kids of the Kingdom Choir, we offer Sunday School classes
for children 3 years old - 6th grade. They meet from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m.
from September - May. We use the "God Loves Me" Curriculum with
the 3 year olds and "Walk with Me" Curriculum with the PreSchool-6th
graders.
GEMS Girls Club
GEMS Girls Club is our girls club for K-4 girls that meets on Wednesday
evenings during the school year from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. (following Kids
of the Kingdom choir). It is a time of Bible study, crafts, adventure
and fun! This year we will be "Walking the Micah Road" and hiding
Micah 6:8 in our hearts as we seek to grow in the grace and knowledge
of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Cadets Boys Club
Cadets Boys Club is our boys club for K-4 boys that meets on Wednesday
evenings during the school year from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. (following Kids
of the Kingdom choir). It is a time of Bible study, projects, adventure
and fun! This year we will be "Experiencing the Light" and hiding
Psalm 36:9 in our hearts as we seek to grow in the grace and knowledge
of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
